• Temporary parking disruption at St Luke’s Hospital while major deliveries for the new surgical day case unit take place: 12-16 September

A major stage in the development of the new surgical day case unit at St Luke’s Hospital starts on Tuesday, 12 September and lasts until Saturday, 16 September with the delivery of building modules which will make up the day case unit building.

This will cause some parking disruption on site as, to maintain safety, some Pay & Display spaces near the construction site will be closed during the week of deliveries.

Pay & Display and disabled parking facilities will still be available, and people will be advised where to park as they enter the St Luke’s site. Signage will also show clearly which areas are not available.

This may mean it takes you a little longer to park so please make sure you give yourself plenty of time if coming for an appointment.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The day case unit, which is scheduled to open next year, is an £19 million investment to provide additional capacity to meet the needs of our patients waiting for surgery.
