Are you a Year 11+ student looking for a career in radiology? Then we want to meet you!
On Saturday, 13 May, Bradford Teaching Hospitals’ Widening Participation team is holding a Radiology Open Day from 10am – 2pm.
Radiologists use a variety of imaging techniques such as X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine including positron emission tomography (PET), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose and/or treat diseases.
Education Manager, Ben McKay said:
We are offering students a look at all radiology careers – from radiographer, sonographer and radiographic assistants up to radiologists.
You’ll get hands-on interaction with our equipment and learn more about work experience on offer within the team.
This is your chance to experience what it would be like to be part of our Trust and the job opportunities and apprenticeships available.
Students should meet on the main Bradford Royal Infirmary concourse and will be taken to the radiology department to find out more about the work of the department.
