Patients and visitors are advised to allow extra time for their journey to Bradford Royal Infirmary due to essential roadworks outside the hospital.
From 7th April – 11th April and again on 14 April 2025, between 9.30am and 7pm, sections of Duckworth Lane and Squire Lane will be closed for resurfacing. Diversion signs will be in place, and all traffic will be redirected via Smith Lane.
The rear entrance to Bradford Royal Infirmary on Smith Lane will remain accessible, but please be aware that it will be busier than usual, and parking may be limited.
Please plan ahead and expect delays.
Key information:
- Emergency vehicles will still have access at all times.
- Public bus stops near the hospital will be suspended during the works. Please check WY Metro for alternative routes. Services will be diverted as follows: 617 and 618, 601 and 602.
- Patients and visitors should allow extra time to reach their appointments.
