• NEW visiting restrictions at Bradford Teaching Hospitals

In line with rising COVID-19 cases and new national guidance, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has taken the decision to further restrict visiting.

From today, Wednesday, 5 Jan, patients on green (non-COVID-19) wards will only be allowed one dedicated visitor, for one hour, twice a week, if the patient has been in hospital for seven days or more.

Red (COVID-19) wards will remain fully restricted other than in the case of exceptional circumstances.

All other areas, including maternity, remain as per previous guidance.

All visitors to wards are expected to bring a negative lateral flow test with them prior to being allowed into the hospital to visit patients.

Lateral flow tests can be ordered from:  https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests

The Trust will continue to support end-of-life visits for family and carers.
