The neonatal psychology service can see parents and family members who have a baby on the Neonatal Unit (NNU) or Transitional Care Unit (TCU).

First Response – crisis service

First Response

First Response is for people of all ages in the local area, experiencing a mental health crisis. You do not need to be known to mental health services to call. Ideally the person experiencing the crisis should make the call, but they do accept calls from others who are concerned about a person’s well-being.

Call: 0800 952 1181 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

Call handlers will decide how best to support, whether this is a face to face visit, telephone support or referring you to the appropriate services.
