As work continues to develop our new Day Case Unit at St Luke’s Hospital, we look at how we’re building a workforce to run this fantastic new surgical facility.
When it opens, the Day Case Unit will provide additional capacity to meet the needs of our patients waiting for surgery and increase operations delivered by the Trust by over 5,000 a year.
We hear from Adele Hartley-Spencer, Director of Nursing Operations, about some of the roles on offer at the new unit and from James Wilkinson, an operating department colleague, about what his role entails and why our Trust is such a great place to work.
