This week’s round-up looks at the success story that is DFN Project SEARCH – a life-changing transition to work programme for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions that our Trust is proud to partner with.
We meet Joe, Acute Theatres Assistant and DFN Project SEARCH graduate, who tells us how, by supporting him into paid employment, the programme has helped him grow in confidence and develop valuable life skills.
As a teaching trust we’re good at recognising talent and nurturing that and we know that the transition to work programme can really change lives and help young people shine – just like Joe has.
DFN Project SEARCH is a hugely rewarding experience for everyone involved and we’re delighted to be a key partner.
