Mel’s weekly round-up: Our Place – People Promise
This week we’re shining the spotlight on how we’re bringing the People Promise to life here at Bradford – by improving our colleagues’ experience in the workplace to help attract and retain great people in the NHS.
We follow the national director for people, Em Wilkinson-Brice on her recent visit to the Trust during NHS England’s People Promise in Action Week to see for herself some of the innovative initiatives around staff recognition and flexibility that we’re leading on. Em spent time meeting teams and hearing about the great work happening across our hospitals.
The People Promise is a bundle of projects happening all at the same time to improve staff experience and so ultimately improve staff retention. We’re proud to be a People Promise exemplar site as it reflects the importance of helping our colleagues thrive at work and home.
