October has been another busy month here at the Trust and I’m pleased to bring you another round-up of the month’s stories.
This month is Black History Month and to highlight it, we heard from colleagues from the Trust’s Diverse Working Forum which was created to support greater ethnic minority representation in senior leadership roles.
We also heard from Bereavement Support Midwife, Julie Key. Julie is celebrating her 60th birthday by taking part in a skydive to raise money for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS) which has helped many of the families she has worked with during her career.
On this month’s podcast, we highlighted Nursing Associate Recognition Day, hearing from Jessica Beattie and Clare Chippendale who told us more about their work and how this relatively new role opens so many doors for colleagues.
