Sam completed her nurse training in Bradford in 1986 and has had an interest in palliative care throughout her nursing career.
She began her career working in a unit for young disabled people, before spending 13 years as a district nurse.
In 2015, she was delighted to have the opportunity to join the Palliative Care team at Bradford Royal Infirmary as a Macmillan clinical nurse specialist.
