I joined the trust in August 2024, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work across different services. I am based in the Community Head Injury Rehabilitation Team and the Child Psychology service – I enjoy the mix of working with people of all ages.
Part of my role involves working with individuals and their families to understand how brain injury can impact their behaviour, mood and cognitive abilities. This involves working collaboratively, developing formulations, providing advice and conducting neuropsychological assessments. The team aims to support people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury to work towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.
In the child team, I am involved with various pathways, conducting therapeutic work and cognitive assessments. My role involves supporting young people and their families with chronic health conditions and providing behavioural support.
In my spare time I enjoy resistance training in the gym and developing my stamina through running. I love a good spa day and country walks on weekends, with a caramel latte in hand! I enjoy being creative and experimenting with different art materials and will bring these skills into my work where appropriate.
