Currently I am working as a Software Engineer. I have been a Keighley town councillor for 4 years and served on a range of committee’s including being Vice Chair of the planning committee. I have also been Governor at Holycroft School, Keighley for 8 years and served as Chairman of the Governing Body for 2 years where I used to oversee a staff of 60+ and a budget of over £2 million.
I am a great believer in the NHS and the fantastic services it provides. I am keen to see its range and expertise grow despite operating under tough financial constraints. I also believe patients should be treated equally, fairly and with respect and that they should have the opportunity to improve the quality of care within their hospital.
