I am a clinical psychologist working part-time in the Clinical Health Psychology department. I have worked here for 20 years in many different services but mainly with renal patients and their families.
Over the last five years I have offered mindfulness groups to patients and staff along with two of my colleagues. I find practicing mindfulness also helps me to manage the ups and downs of daily life.
I most enjoy working alongside patients and staff, whether it’s in therapy or teaching and practising mindfulness. It’s a privilege to provide help for people at a difficult time in their life. I also love working with my fellow psychologists and counsellors.
