Qualifications

MB ChB (University of Leeds), BSc (Hons) (University of Leeds), FRCR (Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists), ARSAC licence holder (Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee).

Jon gained the undergraduate degree in medical physics while studying for a degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Leeds. Following a rotating appointment in the medical specialties in West Yorkshire, he went on to undertake higher specialist training in clinical radiology in Leeds, with particular focus on radionuclide radiology and PET-CT imaging.

He is the author of a number of peer reviewed articles published in international journals, and is a subspecialty reviewer for two primary clinical radiology journals in the UK.

Clinical interests

Dr Martin’s primary interest is in diagnostic radionuclide radiology and PET-CT imaging. He also has a second specialty interest in thoracic imaging, particularly thoracic oncology.
