Qualifications: MbChB

Experience and clinical interests: Having graduated from Leeds Medical School in 1997, Gemma spent several years working in general medicine in the Yorkshire region.

She then underwent Radiology training in Yorkshire. In 2006, Gemma travelled to Australia and completed a Fellowship in Women’s Imaging at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia.

She returned to Leeds in 2007 and was appointed a consultant radiologist with a specialist interest in breast imaging. Gemma is also the director of Pennine Breast Screening, based at St Luke’s Hospital, which is part of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
