I am a qualified Health & Safety practitioner and a member of IOSh with a Technical status. I have mainly worked in ‘Warehousing and Distribution’ where I have over 32 years’ experience. I have taken on various roles from stock picking to Reach truck and counter balance forklifting; from QC and stock control to management level.
I started volunteering as a Chaplaincy visitor at Bradford Hospitals in 2010. In 2018, I was nominated for a volunteer of the year award, gaining 3rd place. Since the pandemic I am now a member of the SPaRC Bank Team.
As a Muslim it is a great blessing to visit the sick. I feel blessed and honoured doing this role, working alongside great personalities and humble colleagues from the SPaRC team.
