Catherine is an associate specialist in breast surgery and our multi-disciplinary team lead for breast cancer.
She qualified with honours from Leeds University in 1999.
Catherine completed her basic surgical training in the Yorkshire Deanery and then worked with Professor Kieran Horgan in Leeds looking at breast cancer angiogenesis. She became a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Leeds in 2005.
Catherine has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2003, and is a member of the Association of Breast Surgery. She has published papers and abstracts around breast angiogenesis, breast cancer management and breast reconstruction.
Catherine has been the Bradford multi-disciplinary team lead for breast cancer since 2011, and sits on the Bradford Cancer Board.
She works in all aspects of breast disease management, including benign breast disease management, breast cancer treatment, family history counselling and breast reconstructive surgery.
