Anne is the Head of the Academic Unit for Ageing and Stroke Research (ASR), which although part of the University of Leeds has been based in, and supported by, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for more than 30 years. She is a physiotherapist by background and an National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Senior Investigator.

ASR is a leading centre for applied health research in frailty, care home research and improving outcomes for people after stroke. Current grant oncome is over £11 million with the majority of its work funded by the NIHR.

Anne is proud to work at the Trust and pleased to contribute to its ongoing development as a Governor.
