ACE Service
In some cases it may be possible to discharge your child into the care of the Ambulatory Care Experience (ACE service). Ambulatory means that care will be provided out of hospital and in your own home.
The service is run by specialist children’s nurses but means that your child will be well looked after by an experienced hospital team in your own home. Each ACE nurse works under the guidance of a consultant based at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Your GP will be kept informed of your child’s care. You will be informed if your child meets the criteria for this service.
