Paediatric Haematology

Hi my name is Jess Naylor, I am the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist.

I care for children and young people in Bradford and surrounding areas. I cover the Haemoglobinopathy service and the Haemostasis service, including but not exhaustively:

• Thalassaemia
• Sickle cell disease
• G6PD deficiency
• Haemophilia
• Von Willebrands
• Glanzmann Thrombasthenia
• Bernard-Soulier syndrome
• ITP
• Factor deficiencies

The team includes:

• Dr Sally Pollard – paediatric consultant
• Sobia Khan – genetic counsellor
• Jade Carter – secretary to Dr Pollard

My working week is usually Monday to Friday.

Patients have direct access to ward 32 at the BRI – 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
