Information about yourself, known as ‘personal data’, is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. You will not normally be charged for information but you will need to be able to confirm your identity which will need to be verified.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) gives the public a general right of access to all types of recorded non-personal information held by public authorities, including the NHS.
The Act sets out exemptions from that right and places a number of obligations on public authorities. We will deal with all requests in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act Code of Practice.
You can seek any non-personal recorded information that you think we may hold.
If the information is environmental, we will respond according to the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004.
If the information is your own personal data, then you should make a subject access request under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR), and not under the FOI Act. See above for details on how to access your own personal data.
