I am TB Nurse Specialist (RGN) and I work from the TB office at St Luke’s Hospital. The TB team works alongside TB consultants and Public Health England.
As a TB nurse I provide care and support for TB patients throughout the wider Bradford district and carry out home visits to ensure patients follow treatment plans.
I have worked in nursing for 37 years and have been with the TB Service at Bradford since 2014.
The best aspect of my job is visiting patients at home and supporting them throughout their treatment knowing that TB is treatable.
