Qualifications
John graduated from University College Galway and trained in Leeds, Bradford and Hull. He trained in laparoscopic surgery and upper GI cancer surgery at Leeds General Infirmary.
Clinical interests
John specialises in general and upper GI surgery. His areas of interest include hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, Nissen fundoplication, achalasia, reflux disease, laparoscopic hernia, minor skin operations, obesity surgery, gastric and oesophageal surgery.
