I joined the trust in September 2022 as a Higher Assistant Psychologist in the Child Clinical Health Psychology Team. I feel lucky to have joined a fantastic and supportive team. My role involves offering psychological support to children and young people with physical health conditions, their families and support teams. My role also involves contributing to autism assessments for children between the ages of 3-7 years old, cognitive assessments and offering behavioural support and advice to children, their families, and their wider systems. I’m interested in systemic practice and I’m currently completing the foundation course in systemic practice at the University of Leeds.

I completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Leeds in 2019. During my degree, I completed a 9-month placement at Rotherham Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) where I worked in the Psychological Therapies, Intellectual Disabilities and Neurodevelopmental Disorder pathway. I also have experience working as an assistant psychologist in a secure CAMHS team, adult community mental health service and in a psychiatric intensive care unit.

When I am not at work, I love to go to the gym regularly and try my best to squeeze in an evening walk or run every day. I also love to travel and enjoy restorative family trips to Cornwall.
