In this week’s edition we round-up stories from throughout September.
We began September by highlighting one of our long-standing partnerships with Sovereign Health Care, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in October, and how its generous donations have enhanced the care we give patients and support for our staff.
Our second film focused on Our People with an insight into the work of our legacy nurses – a team of experienced nurses who provide support and coaching to our new nursing colleagues.
Then, in Organ Donation Week, we told the amazing Our Patients story of two Bradford brothers, Shakoor and Maroof Ahmed, who share a unique bond as Shakoor made a living kidney donation to Maroof.
And we featured the latest episode in our Let’s Talk with Mel podcast series, gaining an insight into the lives of two colleagues who are also ex-Armed Services personnel, and the pride they take in our Trust gaining Veteran Aware accreditation.
