Welcome to this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting (AGM)/Annual General Meeting (AMM) which took place on Wednesday 15th November 2023.
This year’s special guest speakers was Terri Saunderson, Director of Operations on the progress made regarding the Trust’s Virtual Ward Programme. A virtual ward is a ‘ward without walls’, where a patient’s treatment and care can begin and end in their own home with the support of a multi-discipline clinical team every step of the way.
There were presentations on the Annual Report from Chief Executive, Professor Mel Pickup and on the Annual Accounts by Director of Finance, Matthew Horner. The event included a special video featuring Public Governor and Vice-Chair of the Trust’s Council of Governors, David Wilmshurst, with input from some of our governors, on the Governors’ and Membership Report.
