Farzana studied in Scotland and after training around the UK, returned to her hometown to work as a full time A&E Consultant at Bradford Teaching Hospitals where she has been for over 10 years.

Her educational roles include Education Lead for trainees in emergency medicine for Yorkshire and Humber, member of the examination working group for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, local college tutor and Honorary Lecturer at Leeds University. She has looked at standards and policies as Audit Lead of her department, is a Union representative at the Trust and has supported her local community as a Parish Councillor for Shipley.

Farzana is keen to support the trust to deliver safe, effective care and helping both the hospitals and community thrive.
