This week we focus on Our Place as we hear about our brand new state-of-the-art day case unit at St Luke’s Hospital, which began construction this week.
We’ll find out how the new unit will not only help tackle and reduce our backlog of patients waiting for surgery, but will also increase capacity for additional normal planned and day case surgery at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
It’s an £18 million investment for our Trust and the new unit is planned to deliver 5,760 operations a year, which is really great news for local patients.
