I am one of the TB clinical nurse specialist at Bradford TB nursing TB. I joined the team in 2018, although I have worked as a nurse since 2011.
From November 2021, I have been running nurse-led TB clinics alongside TB consultants and this has been a great innovation for our Trust and our patients, as not only we are the first TB team in Yorkshire to have started this, but patient get to be seen quicker.
The best aspect of my job is providing a holistic care patients at home and supporting them throughout their treatment knowing that TB is treatable.
