Qualifications: MSc Advanced Clinical Practice, BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing
Rebecca is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, working as a part of the clinical team in Breast Surgery.
She qualified as a registered nurse in 2012 and completed her undergraduate nurse training in Accident and Emergency at BRI where she then worked for the following eight years as a staff nurse.
During this period she also worked as an A&E specialist agency nurse for NHS trusts throughout the north of England which provided her with broad experience. To further her career she returned to academic study and embarked on the Advanced Clinical Practitioner MSc training program at Leeds Beckett University and secured her trainee role in Breast Surgery at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.
Her role includes assessment, diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast conditions and assisting surgeons in theatre with operative management. She believes in educating patients in breast health to provide a thorough and informative consultation.
