Biography

Dr Beckett trained in London, specialising in Reproductive Medicine from an early stage.

She worked in various IVF units and was a sub-specialty trainee at St Mary’s and The Hammersmith hospitals when she relocated to Yorkshire in 2001.

She became a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals in 2003. Dr Beckett ran the Maternal Medicine Service for over 12 years, specialising in the care of complex pregnancies, as well as leading the Reproductive Medicine Service.

With the relocation of the satellite IVF unit to Orbit Fertility at the Yorkshire Clinic, she stopped practicing Obstetrics to focus on Reproductive Medicine and divides her time between Bradford Teaching Hospitals and Orbit Fertility.

Dr Beckett represents Bradford on the Yorkshire and Humber Fertility Expert Panel, and is also a member of the North of England Reproductive Medicine Group.

She is a course director for the Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma Course, and a member of the national working group.
