After working in learning disability services for 12 years, Dorcas embarked on her Adult Nursing degree and became a Registered Nurse in 2015. She then worked as a staff nurse on the Acute Respiratory ward at Bradford Royal Infirmary for three years, before progressing to ward sister.
Dorcas has always had a keen interest in end-of-life care and studied for the postgraduate certificate in end-of-life care while working on the respiratory ward.
She joined the Palliative Care team in August 2019, as clinical nurse specialist in Palliative Care.
