I joined Bradford Teaching Hospitals in 2012, and am now based in the Child Psychology team working with children and young people with physical health conditions and assessing young people for autism spectrum conditions.
The majority of my work is now with children and young people with diabetes, and I work closely with other members of the Children’s Diabetes team. I have also worked in the adult side of the department (Clinical Health Psychology) with adults with head and neck cancer and chronic pain.
I previously worked as a clinical psychologist at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, working in a large Paediatric Psychology department with children with a range of health conditions.
I love being outdoors exploring and I particularly enjoy walking across the hills and fields of North Yorkshire (unless there’s a cow in the field, then it’s more of a nervous run!).
