The Chief Executive of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Clive Kay, is to leave his post at the end of March to take up a new NHS role in London.
Dr Kay has been appointed Chief Executive of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The Board of Bradford Teaching Hospitals has agreed that John Holden, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Strategy and Integration, will become Acting Chief Executive from April 1.
In another change at the Trust, following the departure of Chair, Professor Bill McCarthy, Non-Executive Director Trevor Higgins has become Acting Chair, from 1 February, pending a new appointment to this post.
Chief executive
Dr Kay has been Chief Executive at the Trust since January 2015. He was previously Clinical Director of Radiology (2001-2006) and subsequently the Trust’s Medical Director (2006-2014).
