Qualifications: MBBS (London)

Experience and clinical interests: After initially starting in cardiac surgery, Mark completed training in MR (magnetic resonance) cardiac imaging at the Royal Brompton MR unit and radiology specialist training in London and Leeds, and became a radiology consultant at Bradford in 2004.

He is a core member of the lung cancer multi-disciplinary team and has developed cardiac CT imaging at Bradford since its inception in the UK. He maintains an interest in thoracic interventional procedures and teaching.

As well as his role as clinical tutor for radiology training at Bradford, he is also involved in teaching medical students, junior doctors and radiology trainees at the West Yorkshire Academy. Mark is interested in CT technology, contrast and radiation dose reduction and leads the liaison with industry as Bradford Teaching Hospitals is the global reference site for Canon Medical’s Aquilion Prime scanner.
