The Annette Fox Haematology Unit is a dedicated haematology ward with 14 beds. 10 of these are single rooms with an en suite facility and 4 are within 2 double rooms. All rooms have flat screen televisions.
Visitors are requested to keep to a maximum of three per patient at any one time and no small children. For patients who are receiving chemotherapy and at risk of infection, friends or family who have a cold or any other infection are advised not to visit until they have recovered.
The nursing team is made up of a senior charge nurse (ward manager), supported by a junior ward sister, staff nurses, healthcare assistants and a ward clerk.
